Making Cloud a Cost-Effective Reality for Enterprise NAS Data
For years, it’s been said that you can’t take advantage of the cloud for file data protection because it would be too expensive, or too hard. But as file data growth continues, the mechanics and economics of the cloud have continued to evolve as well. That’s why in 2019 we continued our focus on making cloud economics a reality for file backup and archive at scale. We now offer the most flexible deployment options, including the ability to deploy Igneous using a stateless virtual machine (VM). Hosted on our customer’s own virtual infrastructure, this software-only version of Igneous writes data directly to any public cloud tier.
